school's out for summer

hello arizona! i'm home :) it's so nice to be back here where the sun is always shining and family is close by. i had some trouble on the way home though! i was driving by myself from utah to arizona in my new car i named julio (he was a wonderful little car), and i was on highway 20 going east connecting from the i-15 to highway 89. i veered off a little onto the soft shoulder of the road, overcorrected, and lost control. my car slid off the road and rolled twice! julio died, may he rest in peace. he lived a good life and was faithful to the end. luckily, i was okay. it was a miracle that i came out with nothing more than a few scratches and a cervical strain (basically i tore a muscle in my neck).

as you can see from the pictures, i was being watched over. the passenger side is not a pretty sight, but the drivers side was protected. i know my heavenly father answered my prayer offered earlier that morning by blessing me with safety. i'm so grateful to have my health even though i lost my dear vehicle. other things in my life have worked out so wonderfully as well that have made this transition easy. i have many amazing people who have helped me so much in my time of need. thank you everyone Ü

i'm now working on finding a job and saving up money to be able to buy another car and save up for college when i'm able to return to byu!

medication

spring fever, n. A feeling of restlessness, excitement, or laziness brought on by the coming of Spring.

it's official... i got myself a severe case of spring fever. i am halfway through this semester and i am just craving warm arizona weather like no other; i'm telling you people--it's bad. i am pretty much sick of this yucky white cold stuff that gets dumped from the heavens every week or so (probably because nobody up there likes it either!). i'm sick of stressing about grades and tests and studying into the wee hours of the morning. i think this is why most schools have spring break around this time--it's a kind relief necessary for college students with this disease. but unfortunately, my school doesn't believe in spring break. :(

so, for this sickness of mine, i obviously need some medication. so, guess what? i'm cheating the system and going home in
thirteen days! count 'em!! take that byu! i'm so happy happy happy! i'm going home for my good friend heidi's wedding, i can't believe she's gettin hitched. it's so exciting :) until then, i'll try to stay sane and positive! everything will be fine.
